Cobained.

Skeaping the cynic stuff, I do have a few people I admire or admired. Schumacher tops the list not because of his Seven Time World Championship victories, but for that one sunny San Marino morning, when Kerpen mourned and Schumi – he still roared. Huxley, for outdoing the Gita and the Bible – by it’s very nature every human spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. And then, maybe this world is another planet’s Hell. Cobain, for the stuff he’s said and done. He’s done what he’s said and he’s said what he’s done. He’s been a slave of his own desire, which I like to believe did make him happy in his sadness. Wanting to be somebody else is a waste of the person you are. The sun’s out, but I’ve got a light. And then what Lou Barlow said about Kurt: “Lyrically I thought Kurt’s writing was sort of cynical and that his words meant more than even he realized”. Barrett, for the same – Cynic.
